The Simpson County Development Foundation would like to thank you for choosing Simpson County as the home for your business. We understand that our existing businesses are the backbone of our community, and we are here to help you grow and prosper. Through our partnerships with the Mississippi Development Authority, Central Mississippi Planning and Development District, Co-Lin Community College, and many other agencies in Mississippi, we are ready to assist your business with any issues or needs you may have.

As part of our ongoing efforts to assist our existing businesses, the Foundation hosts numerous training programs, seminars, and business assistance efforts throughout the year. In 2009, The Foundation partnered with Copiah-Lincoln Community College for incorporation into Co-Lin’s Workforce Education program as part of a newly formed Workforce Education Initiative.

The Foundation also partners with the Mississippi Development Authority, the state’s lead economic and community development agency, in implementing its Priority One Business and Industry Program. This program assists state and local economic development officials in Mississippi determine the best programs to most effectively assist our corporate citizens with concerns they are facing.
